John Navin’s Story
Nearly 18 years ago, John Navin & Associates was built on a foundation of integrity, service, and dedication to its clients. He has helped thousands of people organize their finances, plan for their future, and reach their retirement goals. His real-world life experiences, trials and errors have taught him significant lessons that helped form John’s four-part philosophy: Relate, Lead, Strategize & Grow.
John was raised in a town outside of Chicago, by a middle-school teacher Dad and a Mom who worked at a local hospital. A normal, hard-working, middle class, church-going family. A family that instilled the values in him that are so important to him now. John’s success can be largely attributed to the core values with which he was raised, and the cornerstones of his adulthood that continue to guide him. Several years ago, John and his family moved to the Nashville area, where he is kept young by his two teenage daughters.
John’s spirituality and trust comes from learning by people who have such wisdom, who share their knowledge and true sense of peace with him. These relationships keep him positive and focused on things that truly matter.
John’s Business & Clients
John’s responsibility is to help others create plans based on what is important to them, so they will be where they need to be at different points in their lives. John brings a sense of structure, balance and security to his clients. He helps them define their vision and works to see their vision become a reality.
John was just awarded the 2011 Best Chicago Wealth Managers Award for providing exceptional service and overall satisfaction by Chicago Magazine.
John was raised with a sense of community, to be involved with those around him, to assist those that may need a helping hand, to invest his time and skills where needed. John invites his business colleagues and clients to take part in outreach programs, hoping to leave a footprint that will make an impact.
A more recent cornerstone is HEALTH. Simply saving and making good investment choices isn’t good enough if you’re not here to enjoy the results. Four years ago, John lost 60 pounds and now understands how physical health can impact our decisions, our self-esteem, our energy levels, our clarity and confidence. Reaching his long term goal of becoming an Ironman, John now hopes to involve people in fitness and health – starting at any level one can.
